The idea that "singleness is a circumstance, celibacy is a covenant with God" were the words God used to change my heart. I'm 67 - never married, with all the questions about why God did not bring my deepest dream to fruition. A few months ago the words, "you've forgotten how to dream" floated through my mind, and with them came deep sobs. Then, came the gentle words, "I'm going to help you revive that." Do I still want a Godly husband to grow older with? Absolutely. But the reality of a covenant with God - in Jesus Christ - through the power of the Holy Spirit - has transformed my days! I even found a covenant ring which is engraved, "love, dream, believe.' So, thank you, Jenny!
